Update as of Wednesday, Oct 28, 2026 @ 9:00am
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has identified an increased number of suspicious emails, including phishing attempts, originating from Gmail and Google Workspace accounts.
As a precautionary measure, OIT has temporarily blocked all incoming emails from Google email services while we assess the situation. This block applies to all messages sent from Gmail or Google Workspace, which means that some legitimate emails including those from government agencies using Google services may be rejected.
If you believe you are affected by this restriction, please submit a ticket at the OIT HelpDesk and include the issue description the email address you are attempting to send from so our team can investigate.
If you need to submit important or time‑sensitive documents, please contact the receiving division directly or arrange to have documents delivered.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue. Please check back as updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
